Charging your EV at home can significantly increase your electricity bills. With the SolarEdge EV Charger, you can power your vehicle using 100% renewable energy from your SolarEdge PV system. This means lower bills, protection from rising energy rates, and full use of your solar investment. You can also set smart schedules to charge when grid tariffs are lowest, or at night using battery storage.

Flexible installation options

The SolarEdge EV Charger supports both single-phase (up to 7.4 kW) and three-phase (up to 22 kW) installations, making it suitable for all home and light commercial settings. The unit can be wall-mounted indoors or outdoors, and thanks to robust protection features (IP54 and IK10), it’s designed to withstand demanding environments.

Integrated with the SolarEdge ecosystem

When integrated with the SolarEdge Home ecosystem, your EV charger can participate in load balancing, helping to protect your home’s main circuit breaker and optimise total energy use. You can also monitor and control your charger remotely via the mySolarEdge app, which supports custom scheduling, live status updates, and charging history tracking. For added security, certain models offer RFID authentication and MID metering for detailed session reports — perfect for expense reimbursement or fleet management.
