The Fox ESS EQ Series offers a modular high-voltage storage solution for residential and light commercial energy systems. Available in five capacities from 2.88kWh to 4.92kWh per module, each battery can be stacked in series for a flexible system build from under 10kWh to over 40kWh. Designed for use with Fox hybrid and AC-coupled inverters, EQ batteries combine efficient operation with simple plug-and-play installation.

Performance and Design
All EQ Series batteries use prismatic lithium iron phosphate cells, offering consistent performance even under heavy cycling. Nominal voltage and capacity vary by model, but each module delivers over 95% round-trip efficiency. Charging and discharging is supported from 0–55°C, with full discharge available down to –10°C. Passive air cooling avoids fans and keeps noise below ambient levels.
System Integration
Fox EQ batteries are built for tight inverter integration via CAN bus. Models can be stacked vertically and installed indoors or outdoors using standard brackets. All wiring and comms ports are clearly marked. Each module is fitted with basic LED indicators for status and fault codes, with more detailed insights available via the connected inverter’s platform or FoxCloud monitoring tools.
